Upon reading the AACN Information Systems/Technology Essentials DNP graduate, my initial impressions were that this is a very comprehensive resource for those who are interested in a career as a nurse practitioner. This document provided extensive information regarding how technology can improve patient care. It covered everything from basics IT skills to advanced topics like automation and data analytics. It also provided information for professionals in the field. This included tips and ideas on how to use technology to further their education. Overall, this book is a valuable resource for nurses who want to be better in their practice by understanding the technology that can be used.
