What nursing theory/theory could be right for you?

Nightingale’s statement that nursing is an art and science was a good one. Nursing involves both the technical aspects of diagnosing and treating illnesses as well as the interpersonal skills necessary to deliver compassionate, holistic care. Nursing is a profession that requires empathy and problem solving skills. The science of nursing encompasses the vast array of medical knowledge needed to effectively assess patients’ needs and provide appropriate treatments. To provide safe and effective nursing care, both elements need to be combined.
