Additionally, employees who are able to build relationships with colleagues and their managers will be more willing to do the extra work to satisfy customer needs. Unsupportive and hostile workplaces can lead to poor morale or performance. Low morale leads to lower motivation, which can result in poor customer service ratings and quality delivery.
