Prevention of workplace violence in health care and social services

If you are addressing someone who opposes your position, be polite and respectful while offering proof why the change is necessary. It would be helpful to show how the situation can be solved, such as if someone is against an initiative because they lack resources. I could also use examples of similar initiatives from successful organizations to strengthen my arguments and show its practicality in practice.

In addition to this, taking the time to actively listen and understand another person’s point of view is essential since it shows that I am willing to consider their opinion even if I disagree with it. It might be beneficial to suggest a compromise that would allow us both to reach a mutually acceptable solution. Being able, respectfully and thoughtfully to respond to my opponents will allow me to present a convincing case for my position as required.
