Abstract: This article is a concept analysis on the path to graduate nursing. It examines nursing students’ experiences as they make the transition to graduate study. They use concept analysis to determine key attributes, preconditions, and outcomes of their journey towards graduate nursing. This analysis shows that there are many emotions involved in the journey, such as fear, uncertainty and self-doubt. There is also the need to receive guidance and support. These authors concluded that an improved understanding of graduate nursing’s journey can allow practitioners and educators to provide better support during this crucial transition.
