The Internal Environment
An organization’s internal environment is composed of all elements that impact its ability to achieve its goals. These elements include corporate culture, organizational structure and hierarchy as well resources, technology infrastructure, financial capabilities and employee skills. These components all have a significant impact on how an organization works at every level.

External Environment
An external environment is a set of outside factors that have an impact on a company’s operations and performance. They include industry competition, inflation rates and social trends as well as legal regulations, technological advances, environmental concerns, political stability, natural disasters and global forces. To anticipate market shifts or changes in demand, companies must closely monitor the external environment. This will help them to plan for their future operations and profitability.
